For each club there are 16 REGULAR players.  Then there are two STAR players for each club and three MAN OF THE MATCH for each team.  In addition to these, there are a total of 5 100 CLUB players - Petr Cech, Cesc Fabregas, Fernando Torres, Rio Ferdinand and Cristian Ronaldo.  Lets deal with the distribution of these first.

In a standard pack of Match Attax cards, there are 6 cards.  Based on advice that I have received from Match Attax, one STAR player is to be found in every 2.3 packs, one MAN OF THE MATCH in every 5 packs and one 100 CLUB player per 100 packs.  However, it's not just as simple as buying 100 packs to guarantee a 100 CLUB player.

The distribution of cards as set out above is how they leave the manufacturer.  They are packed in sealed boxes of 100 packs, but when the retailer receives them, they will most likely split the boxes of 100.  Then the distribution of cards becomes more random - buying 100 packs does not guarantee a 100 CLUB player.

However, and here's the good news, if you wanted to buy a particular card, we most likely have it for sale.  Furthermore, for example, the Cristiano Ronaldo 100 CLUB card will set you back a tenner or less, whereas if you bought 100 packs of cards from your local paper shop, that's £40 and no guarantee that a) you'll get Cristiano Ronaldo or b) you'll get a 100 CLUB player at all.
